One of the biggest coffee and snacks network in Lithuania started to work with restaurant management system R-Keeper 3 years ago. This year “Coffee Inn” has installed biometric finger prints managing system BioTime – it is staff managament, working hour and payment accounting program. Program saves and processes information related to employees of the company.

BioTime changed other program when the employees have been registering with magnetic cards. Colleagues could easily use delayed or absent worker’ magnetic card and to distort accounting information. BioTime system allows precisely identify employee and enter his coming/leaving time into work time accounting, when finger print is scanned.

BioTime automatically fixes migration, when employee works one day in one place and another day in another place. There are terminal in each coffee-bar, terminal scans employees’ finger print.

All terminals are integrated to one general company system.

Main BioTime program and finger scanner are installed in the server in head office, where responsible employee can see who work in that moment, who is not at work and that he can do in any minute, when he opens the programme. All records about employees’ check-in/check-out, how long employee was working in certain day are visible in program. System shows definite time of working and it is easier to compute employee’s salary.
